Physician Board

Stanley J. Swierzewski III, M.D. was one of the first physicians to realize the value of using the Internet to enhance the doctor-patient relationship. In 1998, he founded Healthcommunities.com, Inc., a network of specialty-specific websites providing trustworthy, physician-developed and -monitored medical information. Dr. Swierzewski received his bachelor's degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts and his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, where he serves as associate clinical professor. He completed his residency at the University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor, where he received numerous awards for his research publications. Dr. Swierzewski maintains a full-time private medical practice.
