Signs and Symptoms of CHF

Symptoms of heart failure vary and include the following:

  • Fatigue
  • Increased heart rate, palpitations
  • Loss of appetite
  • Memory loss, confusion
  • Nausea
  • Persistent coughing or wheezing
  • Shortness of breath (dyspnea)
  • Swelling (edema) of the feet, legs, or abdomen
